Acoustic fences are typically built between residential and commercial or industrial properties.
Acoustic fences can provide some reduction in noise from adjoining areas, but is not a total solution. Sound can travel over the top of the fence so some additional height may be an advantage to minimize noise.
Constructed on a standard timber frame 150/25 Treated pine boards are fixed vertically and butted together. A 75/25 Treated pine or 70/19 Treated pine decking board is nailed over joint to complete the work.
